About two weeks ago, I decided I wanted to revisit one of my favourite characters – Rachel Morgan of The Hollows Series written by Kim Harrison.

The 13 books saga is really near and dear to my heart. Re-reading the whole series for the third or fourth time, I realized what I loved about it most was the tremendous character depth for nearly all of the main characters in this series. The Rachel Morgan that you meet at the beginning of Dead Witch Walking is not the same woman at the end of The Witch with No Name (seen above). By the end of this book, Rachel is so sure of who she is, and is happy to walk the hard path that will lead to a brighter future for her and her friends.
